So I think DOSBox has issues with aliases on Mac and saving when the file is on another drive. I moved the game to the main drive and ran it from there and I had no problems. I also had the executable file on my main hard drive as an alias of the original on the other hard drive. I had the file on another hard drive and for some reason when I went to save it would exit. If anyone has this problem, I figured it out. Also if I save and then quit and reopen the game, it isn't there anymore.
